Agreed....
Towing company I bought the T600 parts truck from told me a little something.... told me they make good $$$ from the WV turnpike. Not because it’s a dangerous road so much, but because of “Modern Untrained Drivers”!! I will explain like this....
He gets a call from a company stating “their driver” called and said he is broke down can you go tow him??
When the tow truck driver gets to the truck, they find nothing at all wrong with the truck, in fact the truck starts and runs perfect!!
But....!!!!! One day a stranded driver give it all away without thinking lol!!!
Owner of the company told me they now know why there’s so many problems on the Turnpike.... the drivers are new, never had any training except FLAT GROUND, and the curves mixed with the hills scare the #### out of them!!! One company paid him $3000 to just drive their truck, from the WV turnpike to the Kentucky border on I-64.1951 ford, Al. Roper, Slowpoke KW and 21 others Thank this. -

The body shop here gets top marks in my book. Guy that runs it is grade A+ and the guys on the floor always working. Can't say as much for the service shop.1951 ford, Al. Roper, Slowpoke KW and 31 others Thank this. -

This account's runs are so far off the beaten path so I definitely carry tools and supplies for situations like this. A rapid air loss on a two lane with no shoulders is a really bad situation to be in.
That's why I advocate carrying crescent wrenches that open up to 1 1/2, needle nose pliers, various vise grips, flatblade and phillips screwdrivers, ratchet sets along with electrical tape, fuses, zip ties, spare bulbs. I have a flashlight that is brighter than headlights in case I ever lose total power and need to see to get off the road.
There is no excuse not to be prepared. -
