Well y’all m, I’m down lol was getting out of the truck to unhook, fell on the ice, and sent a half inch bolt through my hand.

    tried calling pam...no answer
    Tried calling Walmart dc....no answer
Tried calling the Walmart store...they told me to call back.

so I sent a detailed Qualcom to Pam. Dropped the trailer. Left the empty out of the way. Parked my truck in the parking lot.
In a Lyft heading to the ER now, then back to my sleeper.

    what a mess!

That sucks. walking to and around the parking lot is often the most dangerous thing I do all winter. The big factory I went to nightly for decades was like a skating rink once you got onto their property. My past company gave out strap-on ice cleats to drivers to help prevent injuries. Those are very effective but it's a pain to put them on and take them off multiple times as some of thew will absolutely tear up the floor of the truck. The ones that are more like tire chains and less like spikes can be worn inside the truck if you are careful.

I'm sure all of us have taken a flyer walking on icy ground or going up/down stairs at customers. Get well soon.

Get a pair of ice cleats. About $10 but they are worth it.
