I grew up putting butter on them and still do. My thought is cakes have butter blended in the batter and pan cakes don't so it must be added on top....plus who doesn't like melted butter on bread type foods? LOL

 

That's why I do my own repairs. Pole has ta do what the boss says. Other day my friend came over to the shop to rotate his drives. I had him pull the drums to check seals and brakes.......four new seals, three new drums, (already had one new drum on) and three sets of brakes. The one wheel that had a new drum already was done at a Truckstop shop a few months ago when a seal let go . That seal was leaking already cause some idiot had took a mini grinder to the spindle where the seal seats !! Had to clean it up and use a stem Co seal with steel wear ring and silicone to fix it (I hope !) I don't trust these new age mechanics today. I don't put all the blame on them, some blame goes to the teacher as well.

 

Saw this the other morning and can't say I've ever heard of the manufacturer....what kind of weight are we talking @johndeere4020 or @superhauler?

 

If I scratch my screen hard enough, I can almost smell it !!!
