accidents are why you have insurance. to try and charge the driver is BS.
to try and charge the driver would be like using the driver as an insurance co.
OP.... most companies will want to charge you their deductible, usually $1000.
I would not sign anything saying I would be responsible for anything more. and even then I would think long and hard about signing for even that much.

Well, I need a job. Can someone recommend a good company to work for? I am new already got burned with a bad medium size company for about 5 weeks.
It is a good time to train because it is wintertime. But I cannot afford another mishap. This will be the second mega I have turned down this past week. Because of their obvious outrageous scam.
For goodness sake don't pull Chinatown into this. He is worthless. -

I am open to anything, I have a few needs, honesty, be treated well and weekly home time. I do have a family and cannot just live on the road.
I have:
A clean background.
A clean MVR.
TWIC card.
I am able to get any endorsement you may require. I am a CDL graduate of a local community college with no restrictions. -
If I was in your shoes I would start off in flatbed... Get experience with something that isnt just slamming van doors... If you dont like it you could always switch to Van and not need additional training like you would switching from Van to Flatbed with no flatbed experience...
Try looking at Maverick, TMC, or Melton... I believe all 3 could get you home weekends...4mer trucker Thanks this. -
I thought you went to work for Magnum Ltd.
Are you in Dallas area?
