Good guys do exist..... -
@AModelCat and @pushbroom
I love you guys and glad your here. Thank you for sharing your north of the border perspectives.
However I find it funny that you call it Un employment INSURANCE. That’s like saying I have health INSURANCE to cover a boob job.
I worked closely with a Company from Denmark. They think We are weird but they pay like %125 tax on there automobiles. I think he said that like %85 of his total gross wages go to The Government in taxes.
Although everyone had a degree. Some of the most beautiful crates you have ever seen.
Again no disrespect and thank you for sharing. I’m glad there are still standards in the world.
P.S. in Illinois I am required to pay un-employment insurance even though I an self employed. I can pay it quarterly or as a fine when I pay my taxes at the end of the year. However I am not eligible to collect on that insurance under any circumstances. So sorry if I get a little worked up about it.Last edited: Nov 18, 2019

I am. But not all shops are. Apprenticeship board states that employers must pay each year of apprentice a minimum percentage of journeyman rate. The employer is free to set the journeyman rate to what they see fit.1951 ford, Al. Roper, Westbound23 and 10 others Thank this.
