can you change parameters, ratings with your Standard version ? can you do Idle Speed balance or Relative Cylinder Compression test?

 

I can change what I would call mostly fleet type parameters. Like speed limiter, progressive shifting, driver type things. Certainly not horsepower.
I can do cylinder cut-out testing, forced regen. There is a few things you can do, I haven't fully explored it, I just wanted it to keep me away from the stealership as much as possible.
If I get a code it will show me in the manuals what to check. I figure if it just keeps me away from the dealer just once a year I'm ahead for the money.
But yes it is a pain that I don't have access to the SAM modules. There isn't anything in there that is critical to engine management. Stupid that you have to go to dealer to reprogram a switch.

Anyone know what level I would need to change the engine fan settings so I can install a manual fan? I know I need to change the software or the engine light will come on.
