I lasted one week with IRT. At the time I had 4 days experience pulling tanks. They insisted that I drive on the same hwy where there was a reported 350 vehicle pile up. Winter storm near Buffalo. Not only that but I was EMPTY with no loads on me. I even explained to the recruiter prior to signing up, that based on my experience that I will not be driving in those conditions. "No, we encourage our drivers to shut down". lol
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
There was a fleet message about shutting down if conditions are not safe to drive in just last week.
Did you quit? What happened? -
Sorry but I'm not sure how much more info I can give. I said I lasted a week and why I quit. I will say that it seemed like they would keep you running and not hesitate to dh you 300 miles for a load. Also, this was a couple years ago.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
