Child Support?

Narcissists are often cordial until they come up with a game plan. Once they convince a new guy they are an innocent victim, they can get really nasty towards you once they get someone else to foot their legal bills.

 

Children... Fun to make them, hard to bank them.

 

Having been through this myself (I was actually homeless for over ten months between 2018-19), a couple pieces of advice:

1. DO NOT do anything without an attorney! I skipped most of this thread due to time right now, so I don’t know if you have one or not. But the reason I ended up in as bad a situation as I was is because I couldn’t afford an attorney on my own. Thankfully, I had people I know step up and help me with the cost, and I was eventually able to pay them back.

2. And most important... umm, does your ex have any idea you’re on this forum? If she has the slightest possibility of knowing, please have this thread deleted by a mod as soon as possible, and don’t discuss ongoing legal issues here. This can be considered written record, and you’ve asked for and received advice on how to limit your income to deceive the courts???!!! Bad move, get this deleted immediately! I’m only trying to help.

 

I am not sure a bunch of truckers is the place to ask for this type of advise. lol.
I will say you need court prdered child support payments, and keep super good records. If she is living in section 8 housing, she is proabaly is or will be getting other government support, and the state will file on you, have your stuff together so you can prove you are currant, even if you pay through the state.

 

He's trying to cheat on payments & he sure isn't gonna ask a lawyer how to. Lol.
After my 1st court appearance was cont. I went across the street to Dairy Queen to get some food to go . her lawyer & mine were sitting at the same table eating , so that's that.

 

Wouldn't accuse him of trying to cheat on payments... More like how not to get screwed over by the family courts... Ruthless and unfair extortion that women mostly use on themselves and not the kids...

They can use it however they see fit. The way it is.

 

Dude your kids are just babies, barely out of diapers. You have a lifetime of ######## ahead of you. So what you must do are.

1) Get a lawyer!! This is NOT the place to penny pinch. Find the best you can afford, then get the next better.
2) Do not talk to her in any form, shape or manner. Do not fill out any paper work. (That's what the lawyer is for)
3) Settle down it's going to be a long bumpy road. No matter what else make payments on time.
4)Get over it! She can and will spend that money anyway she feels like it.
5) NEVER give her cash. Always pay by checks, money orders, or thru the court with a reciept!!!
(I personally no guys who gave them cash. Then got screwed hard by judge. Because couldnt prove they payed)

6) What you buy for the kids stays at your place. Or else she will send them in dirty rags and shoes that dont fit. Every time they are sent over or dropped off. They will need everything clothes, shoes, toys, hell toothbrushes. (But I just bought them clothes last month) Yup and hopefully now your buying more.

7) IMPORTANT Dont ASK your company to cut back miles, or give assistance to lower your income. That's called fraud, they can get in trouble, or worse REPORT YOU!
Now if your sick and miss a day or two. Or if you have a missed delivery appt. And while waiting for a new appt, you lose your reload.
If stuff like that happens and it lowers your income for a couple weeks. That's just part of trucking. But where I come from they want 3 MONTHS of pay stubs, and will petition your company for them.

 

Pay stubs & most recent w2 when mine was done.

 

I guess this is America now... some sperm donor wanting help to screw his kids over.... and getting loads of "helpful" tips from other scumbags...
