1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Should I even bother trying?

    Howdy,
I have been hired on by other companies since the abandonment, although it is more of a problem now then it was a few years ago.
I do appreciate your honesty about it though.

The reason why it is more of a problem now is because the industry is flooded with out of work driver's. The companies are now able to pick & choose who they want to hire. A few years ago they didn't have that option... They just needed a butt to put in that seat...

I noticed that myself, at least I am still getting nibbles, even if they don't always work out.

Smaller O/O don't pay as much, if any, attention to DAC, just your MVR. Some of them can understand that a big training company would screw with you just to mess up your DAC. 4 solid years at that one company will speak volumes, unfortunately, so will your multiple terminations.

That's why I posted here, is the solid 4 with the one company going to be enough to counteract the terminations? Time will tell it seems.

I am sure you will hear plenty of doom and gloom from other posters, but if I were you and I wanted to continue driving, I'd focus on those 4 solid years with that one company and sell myself to whomever was willing to listen to me. It might take a lot of knocking on doors and not just submitting internet resumes, but something will open up for you if you are at the right place at the right time.
