It was a supervisor error that was never corrected. I asked for additional miles for a go-around of an accident and it was entered as LCV miles instead of doubles.
Lcv is used for turnpike doubles and I believe triples.
They run turnpike doubles here through I-90 in MA and NY

Another average paycheck for me. I ended up being called in early almost every day, so that allowed me to squeeze in slightly more dock time each day without leaving later. But I also pulled a bunch of rail vans, including a couple of times where they were light enough to use my single screw bid tractor, so losing out on those tractor changes and hooks/drops pretty much evened out any gains from the extra dock time. Most of my delay was from those rail vans, as usual. One had a whopping three marker lights out, and another had a brake that was out of adjustment (I found out when I got to my destination and saw smoke pouring out from a wheel).

I run turnpike doubles myself, on rare occasion, and have been buzzing I-90 from Buffalo to Boston for the better part of 10 years, and I honestly can't think I've ever seen a FXF set. Must have skipped my notice somehow...FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

have you noticed any Estes turnpike doubles lately? They had a bunch of Dolly’s and trailers in Toledo the last time I was over that way but hadn’t gone live with them at that point.FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Interviewed at the cryo company today. Overall it went very well. I imagine I’ll hear by the week after Thanksgiving if I got the job.

The recruiter for the cryo company I interviewed with just called to tell me that they loved my interview and the hiring management has sent off my information to regional HR for approval to generate an offer.
Kind of a dog chasing a car kind of thing... not sure what to do when I catch it lol.
Also, and I know it doesn't need to be trumpeted to the established folks here, but for people new to the industry that may be reading this little thread... maintaining a clean MVR/PSP is paramount to making your own path and deciding where you want to be, as opposed to letting a heavily blemished driving record DICTATE that you work for the likes of Western Express or Carolina Cargo.Last edited: Nov 22, 2019
