Hey guys I really need some help here. I just recently had my brake pedal valve replaced. Afterwards my brake lights came on and wont turn off. I noticed that when my trailer brake air pressure is above 120 psi my brake lights on both tractor and trailer come on and will not turn off til it is below 120 psi. I tried replacing the stop light switch but did not change anything. I am not sure if it is related to the valve being replaced or not. Any suggestions on something to check please let me know.

Easy things first, make sure your spike handle is all the way up and the actual brake pedal is fully released. Physically grab each one with your hand pull them to their released positions in case a panel or floor mat got them tangled. Next is to see if air is leaking through the valve, are your brakes actually physically applied a little bit?

There was air leaking out the exhaust of the brake pedal valve. So the one they sold me is faulty. I am going back to international, they said they would take care of it.

    Heavyd Thanks this.

Why my international 2015 prostar doesn’t have a trailer break lever on the side of my column or my dash
