Delivered that load to Clearfield ut this morning . Got unloaded within an hour.
The drove back to flyi g j I Ogden to wait for 1500 appt.
Got a message around 1400 with trailer number so drive over and got it.
Have to be delivered I Modesto ca at 7 am Friday so had to put in a couple hundred miles today.
Got into some snow flurries mountain range just eart of here. Was sticking a little on the very top.
Had a very ose call going thru a construction zone.
Left lane was closed and was following another truck. About halfway up a truck lane opened up on the right. So we went right to let cars by. Btw.... it's already dark.
Almost on top lane comes to an abrupt end with cones blocking it a truck behind me decided to pass me and was about to my tandem when I had no choice but to come over. He started slowing down luckily and we made it thru without crashing. They had those barrel cones out and heard one hit the trailer. Tried to.keep as close to them as I could to give other truck room on the left.
Took a bit to get nerves back in check lol.

I survive my multiple assasination attempts. Got here around midnight. Gonna be doing round two of qualcomm drama in the morning. Since, despite greers best efforts it was not fixed. And when i hit Gary our fleet had lost thier logs again anyway so we decided to do it after everyone's logs came back up anyway.

Be glad to put distance between me and Wyoming, that drama is in another thread.

Delivered that load of dialers to Costco store in Modesto ca this morning.
Then picked up a load of olives in Tracy that I delivered to Wal-Mart dc in Colton ca tonite.
Pick up a load in the morning In eastvale ca that goes to Grandville ut on sunday

Taking my time, i feel lazy. Cant deliver till monday am in Pleasonton CA. Ill go over to Lathrop tommorow. Got a load sitting there already that is going to Seattle then Spokane. Probably gonna try to set up to run recaps.

My logs are finally functioning after the 3rd black box. Congrats to west valley.

 

TA in Ashland, VA.

I T-called a load in PA this morning, then headed to MD for a Costco load going to Norfolk, VA
That load was supposed to T-call in Richmond this evening, but at the last minute the planer changed it to have me deliver it. It was scheduled for 0600 tomorrow morning and I didn't get it picked up until nearly 1500 today, so it was a bit short on time from the beginning. The planner knew this would happen and said so in the message with the new next load assignment.
And with the traffic around Washington D.C. this afternoon I doubt I could have gotten it there much before 0900.
Then this evening I get the message that it is rescheduled for tomorrow at 2050.

Three days into this week and I only have about 1000 miles because of all the short and crappy loads.
I'll see if I can T-call it in Richmond tomorrow so I don't lose most of a day.

 

Lathrop CA.

Just seeing how much trouble I can get into. Took a look at the load ive gotta take up too washington and discovered that there was a stop they didnt dispatch me on due in Chico CA. Its an Arconic/Alcoa load (aluminum parts), which are always multi stops, pick up in phoenix. Office told me friday 4 trucks had pulled this load. Idk wth is going on to warrant that, but yeah, ill be telling them about the Chico stop they didn't know about.

Just gotta deliver this Steel fiber first.

 

That Costco in Norfolk is a pain to deliver to. Look at the dock setup and you'll see why. Take 664 out of Norfolk - it's farther but there's a good chance you'll off the overheight sensor for the tunnel on 64 west.

 

With this extended frame id have to blind side it probably. Yeah, that looks like it could be bad on the ground.
