    I think this was about 1997/98ish. It was in ruff shape and this was the finished project. I think it came from the Bakers I mentioned. Dad built it just to be light and haul grain. 427 tall deck, decent cam, 750 Carter, 5/2, with 3inch exhaust dumps behind cab. Power steer assist. Drove great. Never found headers that wouldn't melt, so had to stick to cast iron manifolds. Really was great till gas went over a 1.00 a gallon. 90k all day long. And when you hit the local gas pump to get 200 gallons of unleaded, the wheelbase upset some people. Some place I have pictures of this with hopper and a spread.

    oldskooler those people you speak of are the " I need 750 hp dry van guys".
