The actions taking by Dick’s / Field & Stream a while back, is why I drive nearly 40 miles to Cabela’s..... Dick’s is less than 3 miles away from me. Everyone is free to have their opinions and preferences, I exercise mine as well.....

One thing I've noticed is the almighty dollar has more influence than anything else.

 

I guess I'm a chicken #### because I choose not to carry. Only once in my life did I feel the need; during the Rodney King crap while trucking into LA, after Reginald Denny got the crap kicked out of him and I would go through that same intersection occasionally.

I live in an open carry state, and assume that a good percentage of the population is carrying either concealed or open. My wife has her CC permit. I am all for people carrying if that is their choice, but I don't look down upon people who choose not to. Some people that do carry seem to be looking for an opportunity to use their weapon, and those people scare me.

I have firearms as probably 90% or better of the residents here do. It's just common knowledge and rarely a topic of conversation.

I’m on percentage and rates are down so I try to keep moving best I can.

Just wimps in general that won't go toe to toe when the time comes to defend oneself or their own. Maybe I'm wrong..?
