Different 5th wheel grease for winter?

any grease will work. i always hook and un hook twice in freezing temps.

I use this product. It stays on 5th wheel very long time and hands are always clean during applying it.

That method won’t work for the red Lucas grease. It might work however for a thinner grease like the green Lucas.

I’ve thought about it, but I wasn’t very sure. I’ll look into it again to see how well it works and if it’s safe.truckdriver31 Thanks this.

Minimized makes a Teflon plate that attaches to your 5th wheel using countersunk deck screws. Another option is replacing your existing top plate with a no-lube one. I have a no-lube top plate and I’ll never go back to grease. The only thing I grease is the jaws.
