Exhaust leaks after the turbo are alot quiter then boost leaks/exhaust leaks pre turbo. Most times you can really hear anything post turbo.
It could cause some scr effeicency issues and then cause it to use more egr overall hurting milage, but this would be very very minimal.
I still would like to think there is something else going on.
Still putting money on a boost leak/ exhaust leak pre turbo. If its at a dealer they should have the caps to cap off after the turbo and right at the turbo inlet and pressure check the entire cac, pipes, connections, exhaust manifold all the way to turbo outlet. Usually only take 1/2 hour to preform. I thought you also said the boost gauge didnt read 0 at key on engine off. The boost sensor plugs off with carbon and could cause that. If that is the case alot more of the sensors should get cleaned as well. If you are a bit hand its easy done with a few simple tools. I can post some pictures/ info if you want. Dealer should be cleaning air management sensors alot snd shouldnt be a foriegn concept to them.
Sorry for the spelling errors, on mobile and tipsy.
