    little things.....

Was going over my truck and with a gentle but firm pull the heim joint on the throttle rod pulled apart! I usually always buy 2 so that saved a trip out.....

You know I might be stupid or something but I'm actually still considering selling it and giving all my efforts to turning wrenches. Not gonna decide too much without spending some time thinking it over....

(Apparently I’ve been over at the car farm looking at extremely bland, soulless concept cars)

Ever notice when someone designs ‘a car of the future,’ it’s always extremely bland looking? Or whenever they show their vision of the “perfect futuristic utopia,” everyone and everything about that world is androgynous and exciting as a dentists office? Like Star Trek?

“Well, men will no longer hunt and kill or do work with their hands and women won’t give birth and so there won’t be a need for men to be rough and tough or for women to be curvy and attractive.”

So the whole androgynous thing is the utopian ideal? It’s EQUALITY for everyone. But if all are equal, none can be strong. None can be smart. None can be successful. None can be free. That’ll never happen. Never. Not even in a lab. But my question is, who would want it?

Every so often, some sidewalk sissy on TTR will post a picture of some stretched out large car, and the sissies unite to pick fun with it. Sissies come out of the woodwork for those types of posts. And they make statements about how the cowhaulers are danger and drive 5 ft off someone’s bumper. It’s funny because it’s rare to see a cow hauler in a wreck. It’s rare to see a cow hauler in a ditch. And if you go to the truckstops that the cowhaulers frequent, no one loses a hood and there isn’t trash littering the lot. Isn’t that amazing? All of the problems that you hear the sidewalk sissies crying about happen only in places that sidewalk sissies congregate.

We know what the problem is...they want that “equality.” Utopia...

“I am fat and smelly, hate my life, can’t see my pickle, never bedded a real human woman, never done anything with my life that was more difficult than playing pocket pool, stuck in a truck running team and not making any money and I want everyone else to be just like me!”

Do you want equality or do you want to do you? Six back quiet.

Welp, was getting around to go have dinner and beers with father in law. Phone rings and time to punch the clock.

Well, I got by a Popeyes and got a chicken sandwich. Truckstop version (franchise restaurants attached to truck stops suffer in quality greatly, usually).

    It was good.

“Was it stand in a line going out the door and around the block “good”, Six?”

You know how when you go get a chicken sandwich from a burger joint and the sandwich tastes like chicken fried sawdust? Well, theirs actually has meat, a big chunk of chicken breast. So, it tastes good. Well, I took it a step further and did the trucker test. I bought one for later, sat it overnight on the dash and ate it 14 hours later. Still good. Even cold.

As far as standing in line, Ruth Chris could be giving out free steak dinners and yes, I do love their steaks and have paid $125 for one dinner, I wouldn’t stand in line. There’s nothing I want bad enough that would make me stand in line. Especially not some chicken sandwich from a fast food joint.
