Hello everyone, we own a fleet of 379s all pre eld.
We have a 97 5ek that has no cruise control set up to it. We ran 5 new wires into the dash for the two switches, 2 going to on/off switch and the other three going to the set and resume switch.
We are stuck at trying to figure out the connection that comes into the switch to trigger the cruise. We know on the 40 PIN ECM side that these pins work for the cruise 20= on/off, 25= Set & 15= Resume, but that doesnt tell us what the other side of the switches go to. If anyone has any experience reach out to us and give us a hand. Thanks,

I'm pretty sure they go to the sensor common which would be 29.
pushbroom Thanks this. -
Yes they go to sensor common. 2nd page on attached shows the wiring and switches. Most likely will have to get enabled in the ecm as well.

Thanks for the reply's. Im pretty sure we got it figured out. We found wires 461,2,& 3 that we will trace back to pins 20, 25,& 15 on the ecm. Ill use pin 29 from the ecm into the switches as well with an ignition on the on/off switch.
