summer time I usually just soak the wood shavings that we use for bedding .
you cant soak the animals down with cold water especially if they're tired after loading.
they end up having a heart attack or stroke.

Oh, I thought you was doing an inframe. I may have missed it or fergot. Cracked head? Or blown headgasket ? Reason I'm asking I have had heated discussions bout the way some of those emidgicated cat mechanics measured everything separated just to find out later that low spot was missed by not measuring with plate and tin gasket on. Buddy of mine kept blowing head gaskets every 4 to 6 thousand miles. Had cat check, had a very good friend of his that operates a machine shop measure like your doing. And redneck me comes along and calipers his liners and found a narrow spot on one of liner flanges. They said I'm nuts. Didn't listen to me and blew the new gasket. We tore it back apart and replaced the liner.....still runnin today. Still got the liner sittin in my shop with a $ figure writin on it with the $ he dumped in it ! LOL. I ALWAYS check with everything bolted down three times to see if the numbers change before I lay the head down.

So @superhauler , how's that truck look that you went to go get? You know, the one with the spare engine and the name in the winner's circle?
