A.D. Transport Express

We live only 45 minutes from Canton, so I guess that's a plus. When he went to orientation there was only 6 people there. Two being a husband and wife team and 1 person didn't get hired after he backed into a trailer on the driving test. He's talked to guys that have been there for quite a few years and they seem to like their job. Time will tell.

 

Keep us informed how things are going.

Do they do referral bonuses?

 

my dad drives for A D local. he said that the otr division is so busy with new contracts that they were trying to force local drivers into otr! as far as the company goes hes seems to be happy but than again he drives local!!

Hi Heavy Metal Kid,
Are you a trucker, too? So your dad drives for A D? How long has he worked there? I'm glad to hear the OTR guys are getting busier. That means at least he'll be driving and not sitting. Except right now there is an accident on the 77 in N. C. and he's been stuck there for 2 1/2 hours. He heard a truck lost a load of pipe and cars smashed into it and burned the truck. Some of the cars he heard went off the mountain. Not good!!! Have a good night.

How good has your husbands home time been?

 

He's been home at least every other weekend if not more. He left this past Sunday evening and did 2 loads and back home Monday evening and back out Tuesday afternoon and now he's on his way to Maumee, Ohio then to Georgia. Hopefully he keeps moving !!!!

 

yep im a trucker too. i guess i followed in my dads foot steps. hes been there for about a year now i think.
