Contact Trillium Staffing and maybe can help.
Trillium places drivers with companies and you work for Trillium, not the company they place you with. Trillium writes the paychecks.

You were at fault , you drove into a barrier by your own doing . Move on find a new job and learn from your mistake.

It's okay you are still alive. Things happen I wonder what the heck is the best way to get the job done. It's driving things like that will happen.

Head on collision? At highway speeds? On a fully loaded rig?

not sure if that’s an accident I want to be in.

if all facts are true “thank god” you walked away. Job is worthless when your 6 feet deep.

move on and get another one.

Next time if your rig doesn’t have a camera you get one yourself for your protection.

A dash cam can make the difference. IIRC, the offending driver did not stop, but was caught later (don't remember if there was contact between the two trucks).

It could just be the company's Insurance Co dictating your termination..
If you were driven off the road a decent dash cam may have saved your butt..or at least help you with convincing your next employer to hire you. I never drive without my dash cam rolling..

Good luck, hope you get back on your feet soon.

I saw an idiot do that yesterday on 97 south in Oregon.
Slick as eel snot, and traffic was stacked up about 15 deep behind a scared rookie running about 25mph.
Well... Genius peels out into the oncoming traffic lane and accelerates to overtake the entire line at once.
    No headlights on.
But, he did have a bright yellow tractor.

Made it about half way when traffic appeared and he had to FORCE his way into the correct travel lane to prevent a head on collision.

    That's a real pro.
A superior representative of us all.
    He had to go.
