most likely before or during the depression era, or maybe just after, as so many lost thier homes back then. but, each state set it up differently, and what ever state that trailer was in, not where it is registered, those laws apply. might be some states (say) in thier laws that an out of state item, must be published in at least ONE paper back in that state?

i dunno.....legal issues not with standing, if the o/p actually did not know the laws in that state where the trailer was, he should have inquired. or at the very least, pass the decision onto someone else. document everything.

HVH's lenders, the ones who own the trailers were paying good money for finders fees. I still don't understand that this guy asked what to do, then about 30 minutes later posted he dumped it already.

    Another one and done poster?

Oh how a simple job goes south.

some people just can’t shut up.

I bet you he’s the type to brag about HOS violations to a DoT officer in civilian clothing.

I used to do motorcycle repairs. When someone didn't pick up a bike I'd have to file a lien sale notice with the court. Then post an add in a local newspaper for a month and send a certified letter to last known address. After 90 days I'd get a title
