Save that little thing and do something to give her some more power and be young and youthful. That is a sad story. RIP STERLING 2000-2019 TAKEN TOO SOON.

I get a good laugh outta here. I can push you guys and play you like my guitar lmao I'm just joking half the time. But seriously that little 330hp m11 story touched me. I have a similar story a 370/435 hp N14. She was the little N14 that could.

Nope no way N14 block breaks at 750 to 800hp or at least from what I've heard never done it. Never seen a 1500hp N14 doubt I ever will. I know where a guy is that builds em.

No, actually you can't. It's called trolling. Come back in a few years after you've actually done some driving. Good luck to you.

Trucker186: while I would try and save the truck, my boss doesn’t want to spend anymore into it.

The sterling also doesn’t have a wet kit either.

A lot of my jobs now require the wet kit and the torque of the big engines.

I've driven an A model with a Cat and a few with Cumaparts, I do appreciate how great they were.
    In 1982 I nearly bought a 77 W900, 1693TA with a 5X4.
Passed on it because I had back surgery a few months before and the truck had rubber block suspension.

I have seen that video before and I know the man that built that truck, Jim H, had lunch with him a couple years ago and spoke on the phone a few times, good dude.

Had lots of friends that had 1693 TA's back in the day,and like most we upgraded to newer, supposedly better engines. But just about everyone I knew that got rid of theirs, later regretted it. I don't know, maybe it was our way of reminding us of better times in the past.
Never owned one, also came real close several times, but sure drove my share. Still get shivers up my spine when I hear that pre combustion, overhead cam rattle, and the way that big engine just went smooth as glass when you took off,and you started to feed the fuel to her. Big cloud of black smoke behind you,at every gear change.
I owned nothing but Cummins for 42 years,335's,350's,and my last 20 years before retirement,I owned a 95 Redheaded 500 N-14,best engine I ever owned,my vote, but I sure have a soft spot for the real 425s. So glad I lived and trucked through their heyday. Wouldn't trade my memories for a million bucks.

The closest I ever came to those was the E-6 Mack, and if there ever was “the little engine that could”, that was it. :)
