I would fully like to know your thought process on this....

 

Tesla sells a lot of cars. People want them.

it’s ugly as hell and I don’t want one but I respect him for doing something different.

all trucks are the same, he at least is trying something new.

you have your choice of the big 3 and gas or diesel and a couple trim packages but at the end of the day they are all similar.

 

Just a hunch.

Part of it is just the hype surrounding the truck.
The bullet proof glass that breaks with a rock, the staged tug of war with the F-150 when the Tesla truck was 4 wheel drive...

The Gremlin and Pacer were also very popular when they first came out as well.
They were almost as ugly as the Tesla, and they also sold only on the hype.

There is no need for an intelligent response to such a comment. There's a reason Ford sells so many trucks, and Tesla doesn't need to sell "half as any as the f150" for it to be true that there are plenty of people who like this truck and will buy it.

 

Wasn’t the 1940’s Ford F100 made out of pure iron metal..

I think I’ll buy it just so I can swap an f150 engine to it..like a glider kit lol

 

I guess the same could have been said when the model S came out, had its issue then became one of the fastest four door sedans on the market. Same could have been said of the falcon winged model x and then the model 3 which is the best selling electric car in its segment.
