    my appointment is Monday 1300
what's the likelihood if I show up tomorrow and wait around that they can unload me earlier than that?
do they have any issues with dogs in the truck if I'm sleeping over tomorrow night?

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Most Lowe’s I’ve dealt with just let you check in and park you inside until ready.... Most of the time it’s earlier than your appointment. That one has a parking road if I remember it’s just down from the gate.

    Oxbow and Qbf594 Thank this.

END RESULT--- great older guy at the guard shack, if you are on the list for the next day you can park inside the fence overnight, otherwise up the road somewhere close he said
dogger was not an issue, she wanders but stays close and nobody said a word
I was untarped and unstrapped and all folded, packed up Sun night, they called me over to be unloaded at 830am and I was out before 10
my original appt was 1300... WIN!!

Theyve been strict turds with me every time. Especially on a "work in" i have sat there like 4 hours being passed over and over. Its prolly cuz youre a chic.

I really dislike that they assign people to unstrap and untarp side by side 3feet away from each other in a 5 acre lot. Its all safety first until someone gets a 4" strap hook in the face.

    I hate vonore.

    Excellent.

I used to haul out of Hagerstown Railroad head DC Lowes dedicated to either Lewes or Dover Lowes each morning or later that day. I spent a awful lot of wonderful wonderful stress free days in both locations.

Ouch....yeah I should have mentioned that I was there from a Sunday late afternoon to Monday morning. Only 5 trucks, and yes all side by side..:-(
I do much of my work on top of the load, nothing was said...but I'm not strong enough to pull tarps if there's anything catching them which this load had in spades...so my unwrap job let's me pull my hooks up and gently drop it off the other side. Young guys chucking them around recklessly pisses me off...
And yeah I don't know how much of my experience is different because I'm a girl. Frankly I think I win waaayyy more than I lose, even when I suspect that people are going out of their way not to treat me different than the guys... I see alot of seriously unnecessary douchebaggery between guys. Glad I'm on the outside lol.
