You need to spend about a third of that lol. Place I was at today had like 50 bikes under 10k. Harley's, sport bikes, metric cruisers...all of em. Average price was like 6k

#### yeah!!! Music to my ears. Most of my hobbies, (music, art, turning wrenches, baseball memorbilia, playing golf etc) tend to be on the expensive side , so its nice to have something cheaper for once lol

I have a huge phobia of trying to do a motor cycle test at the DMV they got like a square blocked off with mini cones and posts painted lines etc. Watching people on big bikes trying to park them. (Think chopper...) I think it was about 100 by 100 feet. Maybe just enough to turn a semi in.
Its not for me. Ive thought about it now and then but its stays where it is fantasy land. Ive the sort of hands and body that needs big and heavy stuff. Not the itsy bity tiny stuff. (No offense...) I would only smash up really good on a bike.G13Tomcat, WesternPlains, FerrissWheel and 2 others Thank this. -
Maybe a good seat with feet on the floor (Ground) you don't want to be sitting on half a fender I suppose. No suspension etc would shake your fillings (If you had any) out.RidgeRunner731, G13Tomcat, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this. -
I have guitars more expensive than most of my bikes lol. You can spend a fortune but you don't have to and you will never get it back if you do. This is $6200 31k miles and super badasss, dude probably put a easy 10k into it.RidgeRunner731, MACK E-6, G13Tomcat and 5 others Thank this.

Depends what you want.... If you want a cruiser just get what you want. Find one the fits your body comfy.
If you want a sport. Id recommend a 650. Most brands have a 600 or 650. In particular i find the Ninja 650R pretty comfy, very neutral and a more up right riding position.
Why i never recommend 250s is they struggle at highway speed. And that can be a pain. My riding style requires a bit of power to get out of the way of an idiot car. Its an extra out.
Super sports are a bad idea for a first. They can be ridden, but understand a 200hp bike that weighs~400lbs can get away from you quick, and id recommend a good 10,000 miles riding something else first.
Also Supersports are often very agressive riding position. You see em laying on the tank, thats generally the most comfy position. It aint showing off.RidgeRunner731, G13Tomcat, dwells40 and 4 others Thank this. -
But but but 250s are soooooo much fun. You can ride at 10/10ths constantly lolG13Tomcat, WesternPlains, FerrissWheel and 2 others Thank this.

The hands would need to be closer to the tank for me. But some folks like them high up. Nice little rig there.G13Tomcat, WesternPlains, FerrissWheel and 2 others Thank this.
