Last one I carry in the truck, core remover on one end, cap remover on the other. Great checking duals. Used to be one better but the stopped making them as far as I know. It was all steel with external Valve core end, and a recessed on on the big end that fit the caps to. It was hexagonal you could put a wrench on it for cores that were stuck. I have a worn out one some place.

Top two with a little luck and holding your tongue right will change the between the dual wheels.

Bottom is simple

 

You don't have to have a impact. Get you one of these.





I carry one in my truck with a extension and a socket. I think the brand is American. We have several of them.

 

Thank you very much. Will get myself the extended one, & definitely one of the long dual use cap & core tools. I'll be better prepared next time.

That cap remover would get used alot. The 17.5's on my trailer are a pain. Right now I use a flathead screwdriver, & telescoping magnet to chase the cap around when it inevitably falls off my the magnetic screwdriver.. LoL

 

A Milwaukee 1/2" 18 volt will also remove lugs with a full charge.

Dang! You can break lugs loose with that bad boy!?
That pay for itself in one use instead of wasting time waiting around on a pricey road service call..

Like how it telescopes. What is that, bout 4 or 5 feet long?

 

40 inches. I can break them loose with it and I'm 180lbs

 

Nice. I have a little 12volt I think, craftsman. Its 1/2" drive but not super strong. It used to take the lugs off my gooseneck trailer nice & easy, but is no match for the truck..

I like the Milwaukee's. They seem to have a real smooth motor in my experience with them..

 

I’m good, brother. Had a couple weeks off from truckin and just been steady building stuff, tryin to find a rhythm and become efficient enough to ever make money at it. Still looking at different ways to market stuff, when I get to that point.

Should be back to truckin sometime this week.

 

You have to get the one that says fuel. We've checked it with the torque wrench putting them back on. You have to run around them with a full charge big battery.
