What brand is that, ‘Cane?

 

American was the name on it. We got them from the local Matco dealer when he was still around. The youngest bent one working on a tractor.... Put a cheater pipe on it when extended. Don't do that.

 

This is the one out of my truck. It hasn't been used alot.

 

It can also be called a "short 4th"transmission because of the ratios change in fourth and fifth gears
I believe that it is/was a Clark transmission but there may have been others.

 

You said that yours are stud piloted? don't forget the ones on the left side are left-handed thread, and right on the right. Might make it tough to get the left side loose otherwise.lol
