There is a old road that parralels 80 through several states, Ohio in particular. I'll have to pull my old notes to get into it but essentially stoney ridge toledo US23 eastbound and go from there working through the small towns. With oh maybe 30 miles of hoofing it between them but not too fast the law loves to hide along there. -

However for Toledo...
US 20, US 250, US 224, US 42
When get to Lodi-Akron region you have several routes to everywhere. And a decision to make if you intend to use the PA Pike or not. I-80 into PA is the other possibility if you work up that way.
IF you head to the Ohio river south, you need horsies.
Many small towns. Most of them have lawmen. One in particular has a set of exempt rail tracks at a light near a Car dealer. Lawman will hide with the cars waiting for you to hang trailer across tracks at red light.
If I remember right there is a set of rail tracks that they have never been able to properly pave around at the 250-224 intersection more or less. You will slam your tractor on those tracks if you hit em too hard. Toss everything.
