Purchasing chains, binders, straps, ect.

    if your leased on to a decent company, you should be able to purchase new and used equipment directly from them. They will most likely have the best price. If you decide to get some of the equipment used. INSPECT it fully and carefully, make sure its not damaged, worn out or unusable.

    Trailer dealerships are good sources as well.

    I bought the US Cargo Control yellow straps. I don’t care much for them. They must be a cheaper nylon because they are stiff as hell in cold weather. The Kinedyne straps are easier to work with.

    Just curious ...
    What grade and size of chain
    How many of each item
    Years ago I leased on to a company and I brought an entire set thru them (22 of each . Chains, ratchet binders, straps, skid pads, coil racks, 200 bungee cords, 40 plastic edge protectors, 22 metal edge protectors, a bar and some other misc. stuff

    I bought 10 grade 70 chains,10 ratchett binders wll 9200lbs,20 4 inch straps,50 plastic protectors,20 metal ones,4 coil pads,20 coil racks,4 2 inch ratchet straps.
    I think ill need to add few 4x4s 8ft cut to 45 degrees for hauling coils.
