Okay after a few months of kicking it around I have decided I will do it. I originally was going to get a Volvo from Arrow truck sales but I have had so many problems with the Volvo that Roehl issued me I decided against it. I was at Arrow this week and wanted to let my salesman know in person that I would be buying something other than a Volvo and I figured I would have to go elsewhere. Remember Arrow is owned by Volvo. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him I decided on a International. This is because of the several trucks I have had at Roehl the only good one was a 2004 International 9400i that had over a half million miles. I never had a lick of problems with it. The only reason I got rid of it was because it didn't have a APU and my DSR got me this Volvo with a APU. Mike my salesman took me behind thier dealership where way in the back were 8 2007 International 9400i Eagle editions. All in a dark Cherry that looks black. Well I was shocked he told me they ranged from $41,000 to $43,000 depending on miles. I picked one out, test drove it and felt it was a really good deal. I have been looking at the international dealers and they have a bunch of 05 and 06 9400i's with 500,000 miles that they are asking $40,000 for. This was a no brainer I bought one and still did the financing thru Volvo. I will own this truck in 3 years with no ballon payment and I am paying about $600 per month less than the lease Roehl offered me on my current Volvo. I told my DSR that I wanted this launch to be my last on the hometime fleet and I will begin as a O/O with Roehl late next week. I will keep everyone updated as I know quite a few are considering this move.

Leaving Texas early tomorrow morning for Marshfield. Taking my truck up there for them to do the DOT inspection and put the decals and numbers on. Gotta driver legal so I won't be there until Tuesday afternoon. I will keep you all informed. Feel free to ask any questions. I spent nearly two years as a company driver on the honors program. I ran national van and 7/4-7/3 van. I must have liked it I signed on as a O/O..
PharmPhail and DsquareD Thank this. -

Is that a picture of your 9400? What engine, trans, gear, does it have.
How long does the process of DOT take at Marshfield?
