Any recommendations on good carriers to lease on with that offer an honest flatbed lease purchase program? Not interested in Mercer but any others would be good to look at. Also Landstar does not offer a purchase option as far as I know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look, lease purchase is like playing slots. Even the loosest slots favor the house. At my carrier, I know many drivers have finished and paid off their trucks, but there are so many risks to the driver. If the truck gets wrecked, all your payments have not built any equity. If you have a major component failure the carrier may decide not to fix it, and there goes all your payments.

That being said, if you're determined to do lease purchase, pm me, and I'll give you our number. And for clarification, as of now Malone is run separately from the other CRST companies.

Honesty and lease purchase don't go hand in hand.

    System Transport

Solid company, excellent dispatchers, plenty of opportunity. Get ready to tarp though lol. Last time I checked, company drivers are eligible to become lease operators after 6 months of employment. Currently a company driver, I am planning on buying a truck from a 3rd party to sign on with them.

Sounds like the op has a truck. He just needs a trailer. To my knowledge Mercer is the only one that does a carrier lease purchase program on trailers. Everyone else is rentals.

The OP is the same guy who had his contract cancelled by Mercer and was holding their trailer hostage. Remember he was on here wanting to know if they had tracking devices on them?

Probably gonna have a Hell of a time finding someone to lease him a trailer.
