Your right, and when your right your right. I remember a driver who was going to sue USA Truck because he says they gave him the wrong directions so he was "forced" to make a u-turn at a traffic light and took the light down with his trailer. He claimed it was USA's fault because they sent him in the wrong direction in the first place. Love those stories.

But what happens when your GROSS is only 400-600 bucks for 7 full days away from the house? Minus 120 for benefits, minus 30% for the various taxes, minus 300 for child support... low end puts you in the hole. High end leaves you with nothing, if you eat that is. I couldn't make it even WITH eating nothing at truck stops. My entire diet came from wal mart super centers. The only time I EVER bought food at a truckstop was if I had enough points on my payback card for it.

And GUYS (GALS) I'm NOT kidding, I have seen trip paks of other drivers and log books. These guys were less than 6 mos. with the company and were accepting per diem. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to string together the trips, check the dates, and add up the miles. Drop 10% (avg) off the driven miles and you get paid miles.

The vertical line under the bird is to let the driver know not to go past that point when making a sharp turn. If he does, he might damage his fins. He is looking in his rearview mirror to see this line. You'll notice a lot of trailers have this line. FYI.......:biggrin_2554:

When you cant see the blue line in your mirror while turning, your getting ready to smash the fairing.thats what the blue line below the bird is for.The tird thought was funny though.I thought they took a healthy bit out for per diem,it was like 13 or 14 cpm. :biggrin_25525:

Before it was the shippers, now it's the companies scamming the drivers. This bad company report is not doing its job. Need something like the one-sided DAC report for trucking companies too. I always thought the flat line behind the bird is what your EKG looks like after u hire on with them:biggrin_2552:
