    Hi,

    I'm taking a day or two off in Santa Fe and was wondering if there is any place there to park. So far I can't find much. Right now I'm sitting at the TA in Albuquerque and I'd rather not leave my truck here.

    Just drive up there, look for fuel stops/motels along the interstate off ramps that have parking, but don't go into town in an 18 wheeler....:biggrin_2552:

    So in case anyone ever wants to know, I talked to the Sante Fe PD. They suggested Wal Mart on Cerrillos Rd. Talked to the manager, no problems. There may be motels on 25 but I didn't see much of anything. Definitely no fuel stops.

    the only half way decent places to park in Santa Fe are the Casino's, otherwise stay out. Once spent 16 hrs loading HHG into a container in Santa Fe, real high end nieghborhood on the So. side of town. The neighbors and the rent-a-cops wouldn't let me stay with the container, took my tractor and went to the casino, gambled, ate, slept, finally at 11:45pm the customer called to say the can was loaded. I made sure to give a couple toots of the air horn as I was leaving at 12:45 am just to let the neighbors know.
