I appreciate you updating me on this and hope you are doing well, Happy Easter
I have been in touch with both Halliburton and KBR and no luck as yet. Like you informed me, it is very tough right now it seems. My nephew is soon being deployed (June 3rd) to Musol. He is serving in a transportation unit. I've tried like hell to get my foot in a door but keep hitting a brick wall. I do have a passport, CDL Class A hazmat, security clearance (I work in an ammunition plant owned by the Army) but just don't KNOW ANYBODY within the defense department for oversea operation's. If you think of anything that can help please email me and I will be back with you asap. Thank you either way and God bless you and always keep you guys safe.

Well, haliburton is no longer the owner of KBR..They do alot of stuff in other countries, but not anything in Iraq anymore.I was in a trans unit over here..I wasnt to far down the road from mosul either..I am sure he will like it and come home ok.If you work in an ammo plant, there are jobs for that kinda stuff over here as far as handling that. You should look into afghanistan right now..There are other companies here and there as well..ITT systems,Dyncorp,Agility,...There are other companies as well..Some better then KBR...They are ok though..MY best of luck to you...
freebird Thanks this. -
KBR is a subsidary of Haliburton.. They do the truck driving in Iraq and all over Just do a google search for KBR and you'll find them easy..

And as far as dangerous-I felt a lot safer over there than I do now in Dallas, Houton, San Antonio. If you lood at the stats, we are killing more of ourselves than they ever have. Pretty sad, but true. You can go months over there and just be hot and dusty. But in a second they can lob a few mortar rounds at your base. Never had much problem with those. Those #### rockets were what I worried about. Never hear them coming. Here are pics of DFAC after attack. Scared Hell out of these DFAC workers. lol Luckily no one was seriously injured-except a lot of folks meals. We had to eat MRE's for a few days.Attached Files:

Thanks for the pics and I can almost imagine from the looks of them too. You are right, never looked at statistics in that sense. Houston (its been awhile since I've been there) Dallas, etc are quite dangerous. Baltimore and DC beltway is pretty crazy, I always had to stop at rest area on I-66 to pee from NERVES just because of the traffic, 4 wheelers in/out around my truck. Can't count the time's I thought I wouldnt make it to the rest area but managed to hold on, lol. Have a safe day and thank you for the information!
