I have a question for you, do you recommend driving teams - why or why not? What should be expected of driving with another individual OTR outside of being a spouse?
Thanks in advance for your response.

My experience is, I dont care for most people. Most people have no consideration for others. Most people can't sing but insist on trying when you're sleeping.
Don't team with a friend unless you have too many friends.
Don't team with your SO unless you plan on being single.
Don't team with anyone whose feet smell...even just a little.
Don't team with anyone that you have ever wished would just S.T.F.U!
If the person you are considering has a habit that you think isn't *too* bad, I guarantee you'll want to kill them because of it within 3mos.
I'm with my wife 24/7 and about 330-360days a year. We don't team. I take care of the bills (drive, do the heavy lifting, etc) she takes care of me. If we ever get to the point where we HAVE to have more income, she gets a job OFF THE TRUCK.Last edited: Dec 4, 2019

I tried teams in the 80s.Lasted 3 months. The driver I was stuck with was a hobo at heart.Didnt shower or shave and had 2 pairs of pants and one shirt.Chain smoked cigarettes and farted every mile.Never again. My ole lady is my teammate now.
