Speaking of warning lights,
Dash of a new 579. Has the follwing distance to the truck in front of you and the estimated speed they are going. The lines below it indicate the white lines of the edges of the road and go red if you go over them.
On the left is the posted speed limits and if you exceed them by 10km/hr the tiny red and blue cop lights come on on top of it.

Friend of mine got stung by shavings in the oil passages in the crank too.

Its probably unlikely there's metal. It was a decent runner before I tore it down. Minus the glazed liners, heat checked pistons and every gasket leaking oil lol. Still going to check for peace of mind though. Do it once, do it right IMO.
