Lol, we’re actually quite similar but opposite. I’m still driving, but local & liked OTR better. I climbed ladders & worked in attics in 100+ heat for to many years. As far as money, there’s a huge misconception about how much some OTR drivers are making, even the large companies in the flatbed sector.

@buckawsomeshot look up Estes, ODFL, southeastern, saia, AAA cooper, FedEx and ups. These companies will hire ya with no experience and you could earn the wage you aiming at.

I heard Saia has driver facing cameras. I was looking into driving for them because they have a terminal in Austin close to home. But I dont like the idea of being recorded while I pick my nose. Its too Nineteen Eighty-Four for me.
