At least they have air ride now. The worst I experienced was running up there in a single axle corn binder spring suspension. Now my back doesn’t hurt, but everything else does. WTF Lol

 

Yeah, my current run involves some i-65 driving, and it's just the best road in the United States. Lol

 

We used to do a lot of meets with you guys in Lebanon In, before the 11 hour rule. That wasn’t a bad gig because normally I could get there an hour or two before the meet driver. When you turn the whole trip you need to stick with it if you have much traffic.

 

Meet and turns are the best. I love those runs. Sometimes you get tired of going to terminals and spotting trailers and breaking sets and building sets... Sometimes it's nice to just sit there and wait on someone. Lol

 

The best for me used to be a short mileage meet on my end with an hourly driver coming to meet me. They were always good for 1.5-2 hours a day on the turn around at time and a half.

 

The best money is free money.

 

Free money while napping.

 

Are you kidding? Now that I'm not on call? I feel like Superman. Lol

 

On a side note the wife’s car is short lived around this house. She is already planning her next ride. Seems the trade in will net her what she has in it. I have learned it’s best to keep my mouth shut regarding her vehicle purchases and that isn’t easy.

 

I loved on call 9 months of the year when I covered jobs. The 3 months I had to answer the phone sucked. If we would have been able to pass and keep our spot on the board like some places do, I might still be there. Maybe not.
