Good riddance to another rate cutting bottom feeder.. I wish all the megas would go belly up.

 

No they wont, Swift will go under before any of these other companies will. Crete Carriers is a debt free company, they own all their equipment and terminals, can Swift say the same?

 

I knew something was up when they were showcased in Commercial Carrier Journal for being Top Innovative Fleet for that year...and the items they were being praised for, were things other trucking companies, were already doing and being successful at (just not tooting their own horn) and then shortly after they won that Top Innovative Fleet award and were claiming to have fantastic revenue, etc....they got caught cooking the books. So I'm not surprised in the least...but I'm also not sorry for the drivers over there. No driver should be out on the road living paycheck to paycheck with no money in their pocket or bank account, regardless of whether you are a company driver or owner operator. Empower yourselves as drivers and if a company closes, like this, and like we've seen before....you will be prepared and never stranded. Fill up the truck, take it home with you and hold it against them! Good Luck out there.
