Fsc typically covers 100% of our fuel cost. Lifetime truck average is currently at 7.8 mpg.

Well, there's our revenue $ minus expenses including maintenance account. Then after all that there is our net $. A certain % towards taxes. What else do you want?

Enough to have a very comfortable life while still taking summers off and still not driving in snow. We literally are out about 7-8 months a year.

We are a C Corp and do pay ourselves a decent salary 52 weeks per year.

All profits after that goes into our personal savings account. All legit with Uncle Sam. That along with a lot of push ups is exactly how I run our business.

42 cpm? Oh, heck, no. That's not even variable costs. Depreciation is 24 cpm, (with trailer) maintenance and tires 20 cpm, fuel $.42. Tolls, pre-pass, driver wages.-- another 60cpm.

On the fixed side, Insurance, registration, office, phone, ELD, accounting / taxes, memberships, yada yada yada, yada, dispatcher, christmas boneus, health insurance, disability insurance, work comp,

Variable costs are every bit of $1.30. Add fixed costs as determined by your annual mileage.....

    D.Tibbitt and JonJon78 Thank this.

We run a very tight ship while running. We have a very solid truck that so far has not given us troubles.

We know that luck will not last as far as truck is concerned, which is why we have $ set aside for inframe or other major repair or even truck replacement.

Don't forget, we are leased on and don't have our own authority. If I posted our settlements, well I don't know what your head would do.

I don't say that to sound pompous, just to say it's quite easy to make a lot of money out here.

We are actually looking at getting our own #'s and running as a carrier. Haven't decided yet but it looks like we could do even better running that way with same outfit.

If I actually posted my settlements,
