I am looking to lease my 1999 Freightliner FLD to a qualified and responsible driver. Experience as an Owner Operator preferred. Must have at least 2 years OTR experience, and be insurable by my agent. Insurance included. Long-standing authority also included, if needed.

Also available is a 1994 Pines 53' Dry Van.

Equipment needs 4 new tires total. $180 part + labor for A/C. Needs oil change very soon.

    Cost: $700/week (Negotiable)

Why lease a 99 for 700 when one can lease from a company a new 09 for 900? Without the repairs and tires right off the bat?

What did I do wrong? All of a sudden my post are being "held for review".
I apologize if I did something against the rules.

You didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes the word filter gets hung up on a word and it will cause posts to go into moderation.

A couple of reasons. First, you are not married to me for freight. Your loads come from any source. I am not dictating when you get loaded like CR "greatest deal in the world your crazy if you pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity" England. Your not forced to sit, but I am forced to have you show me how you will make money. Secondly, $200/week is alot of money for some drivers that are willing to drive a ten year old truck that does the same thing as the newer one that really isn't impressing anyone in the lot anyways. Third, there is no $2500 down payment and classic "drive 1200 miles and now you owe us money": schtick to deal with. No down payment needed. Fourth, because not everyone is so lucky to get into an 09' for $900/week.

Fifth...because if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'd rather spend $900/week on vacation than give it to CR England.

Like I said it is a turnkey operation, but I am not trying to make this sound like a get rich quick scheme. Honestly I would be surprised if someone chimes in with a real plan with broker/customer contacts who can make it all work. I will NOT give the keys to a driver who can't fully prove to me that he can make a successful run at it. If I can't find that driver, I will turn my insurance off and park the truck until freight starts paying worth a #### again.
