wow...4 years ago it was 30 cpm empty and 48 loaded? that doesn't sound good at all! What is the pay rate now? Higher I'm sure, but what is demurge, unloading/loading pay?

 

They pay 46 loaded ( depending on experience).36 empty. The equipment is horrendous as well as the management in Philadelphia hence why I quit

 

I have no desire to work there. But I've read all the posts on here about them. More bad than good.

 

They used to be good place to work. They have been bought and sold a few times to investors. That should tell you all you need to know. The Philadelphia terminal is a joke. Terminal manager is a former driver that was a hack as a driver. He’s a complete tool. The dispatcher is some broad he banged( while at work) he can’t fire her or she will rat him out to his wife. She is the worst dispatcher I have seen in my career. All the good drivers have quit(except the ones close to retirement) he has nothing but morons working there now. I could go on and on. But this says it all. In 2018 I grossed 81k there. I quit because of management and equipment. No notice. I warned them a few times over my four year tenor there. They did nothing so I was out. My record is impeccable. Staying there would have ruined it. While there I won driver of the quarter numerous times as well as driver of the year. I was a trainer also. I left because they were so unprofessional.

 

50 loaded, 38 empty. Been here since Jan 2019

 

wow 38 empty? That's general freight pay. I can see the 50 loaded....but that's a HUGE difference between loaded and empty.

 

My bad my bad. It’s 50 loaded, 37 empty

after some months it’s 53 loaded , 38 empty

 

still 38 cpm empty? That's pretty cheap.
