Advice on Trucking schools

    Does anyone have any recomendations for a good company that aslo offers training? I am already signed up to go to a private truck driving school, but that doesn't start untill late August. I want to get started sooner if possible.

    dont be in such a rush best bet is private trucking school gives you more time to research good companies if your in a big rush then swift and werner are hiring good luck

    I'm giving myself at least 3 months to find what's right for me, I've applied to several companies that do their own training and several schools that offer PTDI-approved courses. I'm laying out all my options and will make the decision that is right for me when I get closer to my proposed start date.

    If you go with a private school, keep in mind that many trucking companies want your start date to be within 30 days of your graduation date. 90 days seems to be acceptable for some too, though, but I'm not sure how difficult it gets past that.
