Right. So the state builds a substandard bridge that they know isn't up to par and hides the fact for years. Then they hire a company to evaluate it and expect nobody to catch on to the fact that the state knows the bridge is put together poorly before they hire the inspection company. Anyone familiar with that process would know how the state would waffle around when the inspection company discovered the defects. But of course it's the companies' fault the substandard bridge collapsed. Pull the other one.

States finding any means possible to finance that Fall Cancun vacation for polititions. -
Explains who's really stealing sand off the beaches, lol.

I just wonder why no one saw this defect 40+ years ago when they built it. Plus it lasted 40 years. They just want to cover up misuse of highway funds. Any how, it was Bushes fault.

Oh great...now the BDS posters on this board have "permission" to hijack another thread to espouse their hatred...

Which begs the question, how many Indian engineers (here on HB1 visa's) did URS Engineering Corp send out to evaluate the bridge? Bridge collapses like that are common in India, I would suppose because of Indian engineers inspecting the structure and giving it the ok, wouldn't you?

What does Bush have in this, or are you just trolling tonight. -
I don't troll. Bush had absolutely nothing to do with it. How ever if you recall shortly after the collapse, some in congress, and others, were quick to piont the finger of blame at him.
