Does anyone have more information about the below codes? Best I got from Volvo was possible air in fuel system. Local shop said it's a 5 day wait to get in, 45 trucks inline to be serviced.
Symptoms...much slower accelerations under load and climbing performance is way down. Slight drop in fuel economy.

Change the fuel filter...those new style Volvo fuel filters will cause it throw fuel codes when they clogSocal Xpress Thanks this.
-
The fuel/water seperater
-
That's the funny thing, was replaced during recent PM.
Right after get filling up with fuel it started tripping these codes. Then noticed to water separator filter was getting dark rapidly. So then we replaced all fuel filters at TA and the engine seemed to smooth out a bit, although it didn't resolve the issue. Now the separator filter is dark again.
PS during that fuel stop, it took 15 minutes to fill up driver side tank, passenger side was normal. -
Sounds like you got some bad fuel.
-
I'm sure we did. So do we keep changing the filters until it clears up? Is this normal to change filters multiple times when getting poor fuel?
-
If the fuel is that bad yes it can keep clogging the filter. I would try my best to run that fuel out before changing them again unless you want to keep buying filters. If you have no choice and truck is running poorly then you have no choice but to change them again. And don't buy fuel from that place again.
-
Already have gone through many tanks of fuel. Changed filters twice, water sep needs to be replaced again. Plus, oddly we are regenerating more often..
-
The fuel/water seperater is the one I changed the couple times my truck threw fuel codes. I also drain it every once in a while. I also carry a few of the fuel/water seperaters because they are a Volvo part and I haven't found anyone that can cross the part number. As far as it regening a lot that could be a completely separate issue. If this truck is new and under warranty you probably should find time to let a shop check it out. How much are you idling?
-
Idle is minimal. Since this fuel problem started, regen warning almost daily. Beforehand, rarely regen.
