Does anyone have a 579 with the factory HID option ? My parts guy cannot look up unless he has the vin of one that came with one .I purchased the aftermarket replacement light assemblies and am really disappointed in the output. Really want to go to factory hid assembly. If someone here has them ,can i have the last 6 of your vin please?

If you do buy some OEM housings, halogen or HID, if you want a decently priced amazing upgrade, buy these projectors and swap them out.
Bi-Xenon: Morimoto EvoX-R 2.0
If you have the OEM HID housings, you'll just swap the projector and use the OEM ballast and bulbs. If you buy a halogen housing with the h11 low beam projector, you swap in this projector and then you'll have to buy bulbs and ballasts but you would have the exact same outcome as with the OEM so compare costs.
The projector pulls out with 6 screws from the back of the headlight, super easy!
What this does is turn the low beam projector into a bixenon projector with the best high beam on the market.
This picture is a 579 with a halogen housing and a plug and play LED bulb.
This is a 579 factory HID setup.
This is a 389 with the evoxr 2.0 projector installed and a warmer color temp bulb.
Same setup but on high beam.
Just some options. Full disclosure, none of these pictures are mine, they are all from a guy on a headlight group who did this to his trucks, I just borrowed them to show you.
