Overweight ticket

No. I mean, often times they are happy enough with giving an overweight ticket that there is no inspection, that way nothing goes on the record if fine is paid. Speaking from my experience.
If they did an inspection and listed there something (op should know what exactly happened, and I would be courious what they listed there) it would go on the record than.

 

Has nothing to do woth if they do an inspection, an overweight ticket shows up on the drivers PSP report as a Passed Inspection.

 

Had one in Ohio, had one in Virginia. No inspection either time.
Nothing ever showed up anywhere.
The only one that went on the record was a citation I got in Georgia, they did an inspection and ticketed me for exceeding tire’s load limit.

PSP is a driver’s score anyway. Op is asking about CSA score.

I would say this is a simple one. Just money lost. No points no problems.

 

I know what psp is, and I was talking about drivers score, I received two over weight tickets, one in Southbound 15 near St George UT, the other at Cache Creek, CA I was not inspected at either one, both were fixed and slid into legal, both were reimbursed by CAT since I was given legal CAT scale tickets when I checked the load. Both showed up on my PSP as Level 3 inspections "passed", the tickets themselves never appeared on my H6.
One was in a 53' Refer and the second was a flatbed.

 

I got one for $6432.00 in Wisconsin class B road 32k over. I got it reduce to $3k. Third load with my new company.

 

You got a friend of mine beat by about $1400. Still....ouch!

 

The best place I have found to get light overweight tickets is lowsiana, 1 penny a pound up to a certain weight. I have paid several 10 to 5 dollar tickets and you can pay cash at the scale or mail it in. They even tell you it does not go on any record. lol When they nail you, you have 24 hour before you can be fined again, it was always cheaper to just give them 10 bucks and go deliver your load, than to mess with trying to get legal.

 

It's the driver's fault. He should have found a cat scale (there's 9 within a 25 mile radius of Kansas city ks) he may as well buckle down and pay it. As far as going against safety score I'm not sure on that.

 

It only goes on your score if inspected and written.

My first one happened running local. 2 1/2 years later csa started up. And my first record for the remaining 6 months.
