human error. three engines were pulling a half dozen rail cars loaded with casing from the mainline onto a spur, the ground man threw the switch but didn't properly lock it out. three and a half cars made it onto the spur when the switch popped open and the back half of car #3 went onto the wrong line, derailing the rest and tearing up the tracks.

 

My former company's elog now doesn't show all the recap hrs like it used to..
I will send email to one of my former bosses and ask him for a link to that new Peoplenet elog manual if I can't find it... I wanna know before I decide where I will go next when I am back in the USA....
