    Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone is using a good wireless backup camera setup for hooking up dollys?

We are trying to find something that say plugs into a cigarette lighter slot and can quick be removed when you are done your shift. We dont want something that is permanent. We are finding it tricky to backup to a converter as all our work is done in the pitch black dark.

Any ideas would be great to hear from you.

I don't know how it would help putting a set together, just roll the dolly to where you want it.

If you have tablet or GPS with AVI input to use as monitor and some skills you can make magnet sticky camera yourself for about $100. total. 1/4 mile transmitting distance was proven, probably can go further but i was lazy.

This right here is the way to do it.

Spot the dolly in front of the second trailer. Back up good and square till you bump the dolly. Hook up dolly. Back up last two feet until you bang the pin.

I've done this a thousand times. No need for a camera. Infact if the dolly is spotted for me I can probably be hooked up before you get your camera working.

Exactly, the camera is just going to add to the fun, hooking a set is just connecting two trailers overall, people who have not been trained properly put took much thought into something fairly simple.

    Something like this?
Battery-powered wireless backup camera. It broadcasts to your android or iphone. I probably wouldn't trust the magnetic mount and I would use a clamp like this or this instead.
